The Chapter has held two events in this academic year:
1) November 28 2012 at King’s College London.
A discussion meeting on ‘Beyond Graduation’ held jointly with the King’s College London Engineering Society
2) March 6 2013 A lecture by Professor C W Turner at Greenwich University on ‘How to meet the challenge of high technology in engineering employment’
Under the new regulations introduced by IEEE’s MGA Board, a new Chapter Chair will take over from Charles Turner later this year. Nominations should be sent to the UKRI Secretary, Mona Ghassemian (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Two of the webinars from the IEEE Continuing Education Series will be offered in November at King’s College London. Details will be published shortly.
Two modules from the IEEE Continuing Education Program were presented
at King’s College London in 2011.
A further two modules are planned for 2012.
The principal aim is to provide Continuing Education topics to
Graduate Students and Gold members, and to non-members based
in the London area.
There are other Educational Society Chapters elsewhere in UK and Ireland.
The Chapter aims to present to members various IEEE educational
products and services, such as ExpertNow and other continuing
